You can connect via RDP from all operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. On Windows you can use the built-in "Remote Desktop Connection" app, on macOS the "Microsoft Remote Desktop" app, on Linux Remmina or FreeRDP, and on mobile devices the Microsoft Remote Desktop app. Server IP address, username and password are all you need.
To enhance the security of your RDP connection, we recommend enabling NLA (Network Level Authentication) on your server, using strong passwords and changing the default RDP port (3389) if possible. You can also create additional security layers by configuring Windows Firewall rules to allow RDP connections only from specific IP addresses.
